The short version
These terms cover this website and the waitlist — nothing more. The app is still being built; when it ships, it will carry its own plain-language licence. Use the site fairly, and we will deal with each other honestly.
Who we are
bibleanvil.com is operated by Bible Anvil Scripture Engineering, South Africa (“we”). By using the site you accept these terms. Contact: admin@bibleanvil.com.
What this site is
This site describes Bible Anvil — an app we are building — and lets you reserve a founding place on the waitlist. Descriptions of the unreleased app, its features, and its dates are statements of our plans, made in good faith; they are not an offer, a contract, or a guarantee that any feature will exist in a particular form or by a particular date. Where the site states specific founding terms, such as founding prices, those stand as published on the pricing page. The covenant is likewise a published statement of what we plan to promise; it becomes active on the date shown on that page, not before.
The waitlist
Joining is free and voluntary. You give us an email address; we send a confirmation and then one notice when Bible Anvil is ready. Joining creates no obligation on you to buy anything, and none on us beyond that one notice. You can leave at any time by emailing us. How we handle your address is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Using the site
You may view, link to, and share this site freely. You may not misuse its forms (spam, automated submissions, attempts to breach or overload them), use the site unlawfully, or scrape or republish substantial parts of its content without our written permission.
Our content and yours
The site’s text, design, and logos belong to Bible Anvil Scripture Engineering. Scripture quoted on the site is from public-domain translations. Anything you send us through the site or by email — ideas, feedback, requests — remains yours; you grant us the right to read it and to act on it in building Bible Anvil, with no payment or credit owed in either direction.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate, available, and safe, but we do not warrant that it always will be. To the maximum extent South African law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of, or inability to use, this site. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date and version above change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the website.
